Rudy Project has collected an important new victory in triathlon. True to form, for the third year running, Chris McCormack triumphed at the thrilling triathlon competition, the Quelle Challenge held in Roth (Germany) on 2 July.
Tackling the challenge of swimming, cycling and running one after the other is an incredible feat which demands outstanding endurance, even from the Australian champion, sponsored throughout 2006 by Rudy Project. "Of all the three events, this was the most satisfying" said McCormack, "winning the number one competition in the world three times... I‘m really very happy".
Wearing goggles and helmets from the Rudy Project collection, Chris McCormack brilliantly came through the exhausting contest which involved a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile cycle and a 26.2-mile run, reaching the finishing line after 8:00:52. The triathlon champion chose Rydon goggles with photochromic ImpactX lenses, made in Nxt, ideal for such long competitions as they automatically adapt to changes in light intensity. He also chose the Syton time trial helmet with its distinctive aerodynamic shape to improve air penetration while offering a high standard of safety.
Another great result, rewarding Rudy Project‘s front-line commitment in even the most extreme sports.
